Alex Ruck Keene was recently commissioned by the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Gerard Quinn, to co-author a study, with Professor Sonia Rolland, on interpreting the 2000 Hague Convention on the International Protection of Adults consistently with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and to set out concrete measures to secure coherence between the two Conventions, as well as any future convention on the rights of older persons.
