39 Essex Chambers receive nominations for the Bar Pro Bono Awards 2018

39 Essex Chambers is delighted to announce that it has received several nominations for the Bar Pro Bono Awards 2018, which will take place on Wednesday 24th October 2018 at Child & Co, London.

• Nicola Kohn has been nominated for "Young Pro Bono Junior of the Year".
• Peter Campbell has been nominated for "Pro Bono Chambers' Staff Member of the Year".
• Victoria Butler-Cole, Alexis Hearnden and Annabel Lee have been nominated for "Pro Bono Innovation of the Year" as part of the team for the Mencap Right to Care Barrister Panel.

The purpose of the Bar Pro Bono Awards is to thank and recognise outstanding contributions to pro bono work from across the profession. All those named above are among an impressive group of nominees; all of whom have dedicated a huge amount of time assisting others, have provided innovation and inspiration to others through their work, and have shown a commitment to the pro bono ethic.
