Emily Formby

Emily is well known for her extensive personal injury and clinical negligence practice. Within these specialisations she has wide experience acting for both claimant and defendant in all types of claims, both public and private and in related areas such as inquests, cost disputes, insurance related issues, fatal accident claims and product liability claims.

Emily lectures widely on a number of current issues, providing seminars for solicitors and clients in Chambers and offices and via video, CLT, webinar and podcasts.

Emily has been recommended as a leading junior in personal injury law for many years in the Legal 500, Chambers and Legal Experts directories.  She is recommended for personal injury and clinical negligence in  the Legal 500 2009 and is described as giving 'clear advice' with a 'sound knowledge of sports injury claims'. Recorder of the Crown Court - 2009

Appointed to the Attorney General's (Treasury) C panel at it's inception in 1999, Emily came off the Panel in 2006 but still accepts instructions from Government departments.
