Vikram Sachdeva KC and Shaman Kapoor appointed as new joint heads of the 39 Essex Chambers’ Costs Group – November 2023

We are delighted to announce that Vikram Sachdeva KC and Shaman Kapoor have agreed to take over as joint heads of the Costs Group from Peter Hurst.

Chambers thanks Peter for his tremendous leadership and contribution over the past decade and for reinforcing the Cost Group as a leading team in costs and litigation funding. As well as representation and advisory work, the Costs Group continues to publish its bi-annual Costs Newsletter “3+9 = Costs”, provides expertise at numerous seminars across the year nationwide and is responsible for annual authoritative texts.
