Dr Alexander-Theodotou v Solicitors Regulation Authority [2023] EWHC 186 (Admin).  Judgment has been handed down by Mr Justice Ritchie dismissing Dr Alexander-Theodotou’s appeal against findings by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal following a 5 day trial that she had acted dishonestly in relation to two professional indemnity insurance applications and striking her from the Roll.  Mr Justice Ritchie found that the SDT’s conclusions were lawful, and that the Ivey v Genting test for dishonesty had been properly applied.  Andrew Tabachnik KC acted for the SRA before Mr Justice Ritchie, and before the SDT.
