39 Essex Chambers sponsors ICC-KLRCA Joint Conference on International Arbitration – Ben Olbourne speaking

Ben Olbourne will be taking part in a panel discussion on "Transparency in Arbitration – A Bird's Eye View", at the ICC-KLRCA Joint Conference on Monday 10 October in Kuala Lumpur. The panel session will be chaired by Abhinav Bhushan, ICC Director for South Asia and will consider transparency in the context of issues such as the appointment of arbitrators and third party funding.

The Conference, which has been sponsored by 39 Essex Chambers, has been co-organised, for the first time, by two of the world's leading arbitral institutions, the ICC and the KLRCA. This reflects "a joint effort to address key issues in international arbitration from an Asian perspective". The programme includes three sessions on emerging issues and best practices in international commercial arbitration and one session on investment arbitration.
